How do the ducks taste? I've only duck hunted in manitoba - i heard the ducks out here sometimes are not quite so good - different diet...

Depends on the duck..some are great, but others not so good....

Foxer...I've never ate a bad tasting duck in 30 years....I've heard some of the mallards up near Harrison taste fishy, but then eating chum carcasses and eggs would do that.

Most Birds here are eating crops (peas, potatoes, peanuts, pumpkin, corn, some other grains) then suppliment it with marsh goodies during the day. Palmer that's a long drive to mBoundry Bay from C Lk. ....drop me a pm and we might hook up when you're down.
