Ok my mom was wondering were we could buy moose meat (steaks, or roast) from somewere on the island?

She is dieing to try some, since everyone says its beter then beef.

Sorry but you can not buy moose meat. Something to do with being against the law (look in the hunting regs). But I bet if you talk real nice someone might just give you a roast (suck up to them & say they are the greatest hunter next to Davy Crocket or Danile Boone). Can't hurt to try. I would like to but again this year I will be eatting MOOSE TRACK SOUP, as Dad would say. I just can not find the immys.

Offer up something for trade on this site, such as some fresh seafood, as your in Lake Cowicahan and maybe someone weill do a Greryhound swap with ya..

Hah! There is a guy on Bowen Island that sells moose meat. He offered some for sale while in his shop, so I asked how he was able to sell it and where did he get it. He said he shot it up North (Aug, any bull) and that the locals love it. This was a few years ago, but my sister (lives on Bowen) says the guy still sells it.
