Off to Alta in the Morning

Franko and I are on the big bird in the morning heading to Edmonton and points north. Have tags for Whities and Elk. Cross yer fingers for us boys and girls!!

Got a 4 point WT near Edson, Alberta last Sept. Way more Whitetails than the Okanagan. The biggest problem you'll have is deciding which one to shoot.

I'm off to the foothills on the 14th for trophy mule deer. Can't wait. The draw was a priority four so the deer will be big and dumb!

Got back from the trip today. My hunter/host scouted out a sweet spot for himself on Tuesday and about two minutes before end of day shot this beauty!

We were in the Draton Valley area later in the week where I shot mine but the rut hadn't really turned on yet. Still we saw over 20 deer per day. Saw moose too but no elk.
