10 years + of trying, S.F.A. this system stinks. I can't even get a draw with a shared hunt in an area with 5 to 1 odds. Change is needed!!!!!!!

My wife pulled a muley, and I pulled a muley and a GRIZZ!!!! I would show a little more excitement but I don't want to rub it in the faces of those who did not get drawn.

I've been putting in for LEH since I was 12 yrs old ..... 31 yrs old now and I can easily summarize the draws I have had over 19 years ..........

8 muley doe draws
2 bull moose draws
1 cow/calf moose draw
1 cow elk draw
4 mountain goat draws
1 bison draw

Still waiting on dall's sheep, grizzly bear and more moose draws.......


Hell - my brother-in-law got drawn for bull moose 3 years in a row ........

Got a moose draw for 7-8. Chris got my griz draw for 7-28 so I guess I still get to go hunting griz even if it is just as a backup.

thats pretty dam good for 19 years of draws i know people that have gotten a lot less in 19 years...i didnt know u could apply for leh's at age 12 either..i thought it started at 16....

I got a bull moose for 8-14 :D. The first time i've got drawn 2 years in a row. Last year i got a whitetail doe.

Six draws for me and a big fat zero as usual. Been trying for a Muley doe since this started seventeen or eighteen years ago and zilch. Also put in for moose , elk , bison , sheep and even turkey and all I have ever gotten is two moose tags back when it first started. Anyways that's the end of my whining for now and congrats to the lucky ones. Cheers.

OK..my partner scored a mountain goat in 4-24. Section C Now what do I/we do!!
I/we have never even seen a mountain goat. Any advice?? Want to do a swap?? I guess we will have to go for it. :?: :? :idea:

I got 4031, and 7001, now I got to find the regs to look it up and figure out what those are.

4031 is bull moose in 3-19B from Oct 1-31 and the 7001 is mulie doe in 3-12 from Nov 1-30

I got skunked for griz and cow elk, but hey, there is always next year

But I quess I cant complain because after I got my resuts I was just granted my vacation, 2.5 months to hunt Fort Nelson. I think my odds are pretty good.. :lol:
