Well as it's the first day the bears can sleep in piece till September and since I got zilch (only really got out 2 day's) I'm curious to see how everyone else did. I know BChunter did as well as anybody could, but the rest of you, whow'd you do?

I managed to get one after being out for about 10 days in total. I missed an easy shot on another one; I just got a little too excited and pulled the shot. I've learned my lesson and connected on the second one I shot at this spring. All my hunting was done on Vancouver Island, so maybe I shouldn't have participated in this post. :D

I think i got in about 7 days, saw a few smaller ones. One bigger about 5 foot, couldn't get a clear shot off, before it went down a draw. So i'll have to wait till fall, maybe i'll connect on my first bear then. :D

I passed up so many bears this spring, because I was so picky!

Yesterday (last day here) I got up and said "after work, I'm going out and getting a nice bear!"

Unfortunately, worked dragged on until 9PM (since 9AM) and I just went home and snoozed..

I'll shoot a bear in the fall, if it's the right one. I've lkilled some big bears, so I am not going to shoot a little guy for meat- I always have lots of that in the fall, anyway :D

Went out twice, saw 20 bears, only one nice one, he took off, left his slutty woman to keep his hide intact.

Got too much stuff in the freezer anyways, might look for a big grain field brute come October.

:) The person I hunted with most this spring was Doug. Together we go two bears. We usually split our harvest, so this fall we will be looking for a large bear for some winter pepperoni. Puppy.

I was coming down from Cyprus bowl in North Vancouver in my T-800 with a blackie no more than 5 feet from the front of my bumper going like a bat out of hell stupid bear ran straight down the road for about half a click you should have seen the look on peoples faces coming the other way or maybe it was the look on my face 8O .

" And now, back to our program......."
I shot my bear late monday evening, about 5'6" to 5'9", tad over 19" skull. Clean-up and retrieval 6am Tues. While I was cleaning, my Pard' went for a walkabout, and shot a nice one, too. Home for supper. Talk about "the bottom of the ninth"!

I took one on my second day out, I passed on a couple on the first day and settled for a medium sized one the second day. Not the granddaddy that I was looking for.... but hey, they all taste good! This fall watch out!

Went out 3 days and saw 5 bears. Two of which were trophys and due to the shitty hunter managed to stay alive. I took an average bear and it tastes gooooood

there was one nice bear we didn't even get a shot at ,, this was an unfortunate situation when it comes to hunting haha but we had an amazing day otherwise ,, what happened was we were going to check the cameras before my buddys wedding and half way drive to the first one my girlfriend spotted a nice bear but we were in a rush to get back to town to shower and get ready for the wedding as it takes 3 or 4 hours to get to both cameras and back to town, so we brought no guns and no licences of course that's how it goes when you don't have anything you see something nice you can shoot haha ,, o well still have the fall :)
