water is very low on the vedder, should be trout. springs. and some cultus lake sockeye. watch some stupid fool in a jetboat go up last week. he was sure messing the river up.

The Fraser is the place to be. 04:00, get your spot.. fish on! not been hard to land nice big reds and sockeye.

The Vedder is a waste of time right now.

Things are slow in the vedder for springs now unless your at the limit hole (hatchery) looking to snag a black one:| . As Ruger says theres not to much water there as you can wade through in alot of spots. But Hoochie is correct best bets at a clean Spring arer on the Fraser and if you hook into a Sock your able to retain them unlike on the Vedder!

Well a 8 foot 7 weight should be alright I would imagine, And as for somthing to tye on the end of your line I would try a few little split shots with iether some black or dark green wool with dark red mixed in.. Thats what I have caught em' on in the past. But as was stated if there only old boots I wouldnt get your hopes up on legaly hooking any.:)
