I caught this Chinook last weekend in thePort McNeill area.

Nice fish!

I am heading up to the Queen Charlottes on August 5th for 20 days and I can't wait to get my line wet after seeing this pic. Thanks.

Where will you be? I am running a boat and yacking about the wildlife for an ecotourism company up there from the 5th to the 23rd. We are mostly in the southern area of the islands.

My mistake detective! It lost 2lbs of blood from the HBC forum to BC Fishing Reports! But really if you have ever done much fishing you would know the size of that fish just by looking at it!

I fish stricktly north island! Gold River to Port Hardy, west coast to east coast.

I was actually wondering about browning as he said he would be in the Queen Charlottes. I won't be down in the hardy area until late agust when we cross from the charlottes at the end of the trip on the 23rd.

westcoaster im not sure the name of the place i think im going to the mian city there my 2 brothers and sisters dad lives there so im just going there to visit him and do somefishing all i know is im going to an airport getting on a plane and flyign someone on the charlottes

You'll have a great time, the Charlottes have a way of getting in your blood and I hope the fishing is great for you. I fly up on saturday the 5th and overnight in sandspit, I'll be on a vessel called the "Island Roamer" from the 6th to the 23rd. I go down to the southern tip of the Islands for most of that time and you will likely stay in the north (where all the towns are) and fish the west coast but try giving me a call on the VHF radio (everyone has one up there), there is a good chance you will be able to raise me even if I am down south. If you find yourself in the Southern Islands and especially down in the park be sure to give me call and I'll keep an eye out for you.
