Diawa 600h reels, matching pair.

Picked up matching pair of diawa 600h reels on Ebay tonight.
$87 Us + shipping for the pr. Got a bit excited when I saw there was less than a minute left in the auction and only $70 bid at the time, so I bid $100 max, and got them for a bit less. The seller described them as being in excellend condition too. we'll see.
Want to put them on a pr of 6'6" Hali rods.
Did I do OK ? Will these reels do the job on halibut ?

Yes, they will work for halibut. I use a similar real made by Penn.

The Diawa Sealine 600 is a great reel for west coast halibut fishing.
If the reels are in decent shape you also got a good deal for the money.:wink:
