So I got my new arrows in the mail yesterday, they are Gold Tip Xt Hunters 5575's, put some bullet points on them, and went to try them out...After a lil bit of tinkering, I was shooting @ 20 yards, getting all 6 arrows in a 4 inch circle! So after I was happy with that, I tried 30 yards, was getting all 6 in a 5 inch circle, so Im happier then hell right now! My bow is shooting awesome! I cant wait to get my first bow kill under my belt! And its all thanks to Jack's (fulldraw) friend, from the Burnaby shoot, cant remember his name, but hes a good guy, recommended that I get some GT 5575's and he said I wouldnt be happier, and he was right!

Happy hunting!

Umm, I am a member on www.archerytalk.com (http://www.archerytalk.com) and you can find sweeet deals on everything on that site. I have bought MANY stuff on there, my bow, sight shield, arrows, broad heads, everything, cheap prices too. Go on there and check it out, you wont be disapointed! :D

Cowboy good to hear your happy with the new arrows, remember you can buy weight tubes to go inside of the Gold Tips to give your arrows more weight for hunting if needed. Steel Ram where are you located ? if you give me your 20 i should be able to help you find some gold tips at a good price. You will like shooting them out of your 70 lb recurce. They fly great out of my 62lb long bow.

I'm in the Victoria area. I've been out off the archery scene for some time and have decided to take up a more traditional type bow instead of my compound. Seems there's too much to keep up with modern compound bows and arrows etc. now.

I think I'd be wise to stick with aluminums for the time being since I do have the odd wild shot once in a while. I don't imagine cedar arrows stand up to tree's and such too well.

 DO NOT USE CANADIAN CAMO OUT OF STITTSWILLE ONTARIO !!

They will make you wait, and wait, and wait, and then when you are good and upset - P.O'd - and generally frustrated, they will make you wait some more. :frown:

If you order arrows now, god forbid, you might (and I stress MIGHT) get them by the start of hunting season.

I have a long story to relate and I will do so when (and if) I get my final order from them. I ordered some stuff in April - yes April of this year. I am still waiting for the order to arrive. This is not the first time either. It takes me a bit to get really upset, but they have managed to do it for me.

Other alternatives to Cdn Camo are:

http://www.calgaryarcherycentre.com

www.ca.nationalarcherysupply.com (http://www.ca.nationalarcherysupply.com)

http://www.eaglearchery.com

http://www.mountain-archery.com

http://www.yeoldearcheryshoppe.com

Of the ones listed above, Calgary Archery Centre does not seem to carry a lot in the way of variety of "stuff".

National Archery (or Heartland Archery) has generally a nice selection and by and large has fairly good prices.

Eagle Archery is an American outfit but it has good selection and good prices, especially considering the strong Cdn $$ right now.

Mountain Archery is good - ships right away, good prices and a nice selection.:-D

Ye Olde Archery has great prices - I am still waiting an order from them. They do keep in contact with you as far as what is happening with your order though - the only one that does so to my knowledge. They emailed me to say that they had received my money order, and then emailed me again to say that the order had been shipped! Who does that?! Certainly not any other company that I have dealt with - that includes the ones listed above (except for Ye Olde of course).
