Preamble: I know nothing about bows. Period.

Has anyone used or owned a Fred Bear bow? I have read enough threads to know that their are a lot of good bows out there and everybody has their preferences, but I would like your opinions on the Fred Bear Omni Pro.

Thanks, John

I have a Bob Lee bow which I only use for fun not hunting. I gather you talk about a Fred Bear traditional bow. Or is it a Fred Bear Compound. They make both styles bows. Fred Bear is a very reputable company and in business for 40 years. That tells you something right there.;-)

My sons looking to buy one from a friend and neither one of us know much about bows. I've heard of Fred Bear bows, but nothing about the quality, etc. John

If you are unsure about the bow
Bring over and I will take a look at it

Thanks for the offer Roy. If I can ever get my son to stand still for more than five minutes I'll talk to him and see what he wants to do about it.

Now that I think about it, he mentioned something about being interested in bowhunting when he came home from taking the CORE course from you.
