Finally!! after a year and a half i got my head mount back..if i could post it below i would but since i just cant figure it out i put it in the gallery. It's not huge but it was an exciting hunt, He was the 21st deer under my stand in 3 hours. You might say i found a well used trail! After i got him i climbed down and had to hold my bow out in front of me to make sure the other buck (#22) wasn't going to charge me. He stood at a bows length away and watched me walk away! It was an amazing hunt!

Love the droptine, how many of the 22 deer were bucks? I am assuming this was the biggest one that day?

thanks for posting that for me .270boy!!
out of the 22 deer 9 were bucks. i missed a 2 point and was grunting to try and get him to come back in and this one came charging from the other side, he came in so fast and stopped right under my stand, i had to hold my draw for at least 30 seconds. (longest 30 secs of my life!).
i was hunting region 8 near Osoyoos. What made the hunt more memorable was the next day watching bigger bucks come by me and not being able to shoot them. I just sat there and watched.
The 2005 season found me sitting in the same tree and shooting the first buck to come to my calls a little 2 point and then when i went to get him i saw 8 bucks and 2 were well over the 140 class, the weird thing was, i was tracking my deer and got to within bow range and none of them even knew i was there and one was only 10 yards. Love hunting in deep snow!
