specialty shooting sports in Langley. They had it in last week, but I was changing cams from 80% to 65%, and Alpine sent the wrong modules, so had to wait on it. Should be here tomorrow, or Thursday

Kirby Trophy taker is a good dependable rest. Is that the one you will be using in Merritt ???? Maybe get in a round with you. Mike

Diller, if its still there feel free:grin: it had better be on its way up here, just got confirmation that its coming.:-D

Mike definatly have to get a round in, Shot with your son and grandson, but never got to shoot with you I don't think! And thats the bow I'll be slinging there. Hopefully I get all the kinks(if there are any) worked out in Vernon next week.

Drop-aways are great rests. Gawd thats an awful heavy pull though. Ugh. Wouldn't want to shoot that all day.

Ive shot a lot of rests, but the quicktune 4000 is the way to go especially if you like actual micro adjust feature. the trophy take is hard to really fine tune in and adding fuzzy stuff to the prongs is a pain in the butt. the 4000 has teflon tips and is extremely quiet. I would serve it into my string though. I dont like having the cable slide with wire. when wet the slide chatters.

Its not too bad, I use to shoot 80. I like 67-68, never had a problem shooting it all day. Use to shoot 100-150 arrows a day @ 70. All about building the muscles up, and keeping them there.

Oh I know it. I could pull that much if I did it all the time. I just don't want to try ;)

I use for the last 10 years the same two prong quick tune rest from NAP and never had any problems with it other than changing the rubber tubing on the prongs and a little oil on the springs. Still use my 12 year old true ball release aid too.
I guess I am just not your average gadget person and for as long as it works well and suits my purpose I will keep it until it falls apart.

By the way Kirby, nice bow and I hope you are happy with it and get lots of game. Personally I just never could warm up to these short axle to axle bows.
