I've seen several ways to set up Texas rag type snow deeks; and several versions of them, from pillow cases to white plastic garbage bags.
I've been in a very successful hunt where the garbage bags were used to fill out a spread, so this is what I used when I went back a year later.
Ditto white bleach bottles and pillow cases.
The question here is what are some of the ways that garbage bags can be rigged. The hunt I was on in Saskatchewan the bags were anchored to the ground with bamboo garden stakes and pivoted into the wind to provide motion.
Other variants were fender washers, rocks and steel rod.
These were all prairie items. What is used here for the rags or is it the same rigs?

Tyvek is a little better material than plastic bags. The setups you saw out there will work anywhere on snows. Have a look at Northwinds decoys, Sillosocks, Sudecoys, they shud give you some ideas. You can buy something like Sillosocks for under 400.00 landed in BC for 6doz also. Depends on material access, and how much time and energy you want to put into building your own.
