Any of the gun shops in Prince George usually have some. A couple of months ago I bought some more bangers but when I got home and looked inside the box I accidently bought the flares. Thats ok they will be fun to shoot off. I also take them in the boat with me incase there is any problems.

If you're up in Nanaimo go to Ono's. It's tucked in behind the Chrysler dealership beside Costco. They carry all sorts of forestry and work gear and usually have some by the counter.

Jager, are these the ones that you shoot out of a shotgun?

im guessing they are the "common" pen style launcher... tehy work great but don't keep them loaded!

I had one that was screwed to tight to the firing pin and went of when I bumped it in my tent.... blew a huge hole in it and we couldn't hear for a while...

If you're looking for shotgun bear bangers or rubber bullets, Margo Supplies Ltd. is the place to look. Problem is - if you order from them you'll have to pay for a hazmat fee for shipping so you really want to get a few guys in on it to make it more affordable.

They're the pen style Paintballer. I've never seen bangers for a 12 gauge only the flares.

I think that if I was in the situation that I had to fire a rubber ball at a bear that I'd sooner have a slug in the gun instead of having the chance of just pissing him off and getting eaten.

Hey Foxer welcome back, I thought you had left the country or something.

Call Hub Sports on the mainland, they should be able to give you a hand. I know for a fact they keep the 12guage bear bangers in stock. Basically all that it is, is an adapter that allows you to thread the cartridges in. This then functions as a a shotgun shell style bear banger. I think they specifically make the cartridges for the shotgun style though, the ordinary cartridges are different, but don't quote me on that. Oh by the way the number for Hub Sports is 1-604-859-8316. Hope this helps
