I know lots of you guys are getting antsy for the 3D season to begin and are searching frantically for this year's scheduled events. Here's a preliminary list of shoots, which I hope to expand a lot in the near future.

http://www.angelfire.com/bc/canuck2/3D2006.html

If anyone sees anything that needs correcting or has some info on other shoots, please let me know at jlucke@sunshinecable.com

I'm waiting to hear back from several places that had shoots last year and will add these as soon as I find out about them for this year.

For those that have been to the Summerland and Enderby 3D shoots which is a larger event, I have to travel from the north end of BC to the lower mainland for work for the week in between these two shoots, I am going to try real hard to make both of them going each way, but if I can only swing one of em which in others expereince is the bigger event.

Gotta win a lottery I guess, so work wouldnt be in the way.

gitnadoix, I wish I were attending either of those events and could shoot with you. I haven't been to the Enderby shoot, which is supposed to be excellent - note that there will also be a swap meet there. But I went to Summerland last year and the course was super. The topography is just right and the setting is really nice. You'll enjoy it; just use footwear that rejects cactus.

I'll miss it this year as I'll be in Quesnel for the B.C. Indoor Championships at that time. Dadgum it.

Sealevel, ya, probably, seemed like they had alot of guys helping out last year. I was just hoping they changed the course lay out.

Kirby, I understand that two of their key guys are working out of town this year and there just wasn't enough extra experience to make it go. Perhaps next year.

oldtimer
02-20-2006, 11:41 AM
Sure seemed like they had lots of help last year. Only a few glitches in the course lay-out that we from Quesnel were worried about. Kirby your bang on, the terrain is excellent for a shoot. Mike

Kirby

Oldtimer, ya, great terrain, but they need to take cooking lesson from you Quesnel boys!

Kirby

Oldtimer, you can plan on it. This year I might not try to eat the entire pig by myself though. I'll be spreading the word around to local shooters.

A newly scheduled event - Enderby on July 23. It's nice to see some 3D shoots happening in the summer instead of tapering off just about when school gets out.
