I am thinking of ordering a "Whisker biscuit" type arrow rest. How do I tell which one to order; a RIGHT or LEFT hand?
Is it determined by the side of the bow that the arrow rests upon?

Oh, and Happy New Year to all!

Do You shoot right handed or left? That is the determining factor. Fred

If you hold the bow in your right hand you are shooting left and vis-a-verse.

you will have to wait tell you get a bow and rest to tell how long your arrows will be like what the brase height is and what rest you use. Are you going to shoot broadheads or not????

Take a full lenght arrow draw to where you normally anchor be it corner of your mouth or jaw line or if you use a kisser button etc. Measure +1" from the front of your riser and mark it. This will be your draw lenght, it will vary from bow to bow depending on construction of the bow, so the arrows you cut will be for the bow you shoot.

But when it comes to the biscuit rests, does RIGHT-HANDED refer to the arrow-slot on the biscuit, or to the mounting method?

This picture http://www.ca.nationalarcherysupply.com/contents/media/t_originalqs.png shows a RIGHTHAND mount with a lefthand opening...so what would I order?

If you hold your bow in your left hand to shoot then yeah what Fred said. Order the right hand rest as in the picture.
