thanks for the report yesterday, went to the chehalis today and hooked into a mad amount of coho! best day of the year by far, wierd such a late run, mostly boots but a couple relatively nice fish. no stealies for me yet though but thanks again for the report.

Its not really all that late for those Coho. Inch Creek hatchery (near Norrish/Suicide) had 824 coho return from sunday night to monday morning. For a return year of approx. 2000 fish this is nearly half of the entire run. Whenever there is pro-longed dry periods interrupted by even a small amount of rain, it will cause those holding fish to race up there natal creeks. At the same time as our late fish were returning, Chehalis had a couple thousand returning. The coho run in these creeks/rivers will taper on until mid to late January.

Steve....too funny! I am sitting in front of his computer in the "Peg" for Xmas staring at a pile of his moose hunting CD's, DVD's and videos.

Good luck with the fishing.....I am heading out to try for some winter feeders next week as I am back in Van on boxing day. (hoping it dries up a little bit!!)

Merry Xmas to you!!
