Wel I just got in from 40 hours of travel to get home. What a great trip. I got 2 Warthog, 2 Blue Wildebeest, Impala, Bushbuck, Nyala, Kudu, Fallow deer and a Grey Duiker. I'll post some pictures and do a write up on the weekend.

That was one brutal ride home.

Five hours in the back of a little Nissan crew cab to the Joburg airport. Wait around till departure at the airport and then 11 hours on up to London with another days wait at the airport and then 9 hours across the Atlantic to Seattle.

Half Slam got grilled for half an hour for importing a set of wart hog tusks
like they were from some endangered species and he'd shot the last one!

Then the drive back to BC so we were pretty much hollowed out by the time we got home. The nine hour difference can really paste you.

I ended up with a couple serious spider bites and two doctors later, I'm
still figuring out which antibiotic cream and pills to use.

The hunting was great and there will be pics to come shortly.

WOW!
Sounds like an adventure to just get home.
I'am so looking forward to the pictures.
Don't much care for spiders myself, especially ones that bite.

The trip back is always a killer!

Any idea what kind of spider got ya? Hopefully it wasn't one of those nasty violin spiders (kin to the brown recluse, fiddleback and hobos).
