Here is a pic of the whitetail my dad shot on our yearly trip to northern Alberta. It has ten scorables per side and a gross score of 217 1/2 and nets 207 even. Super heavy all the way around. Some of you may have seen this pic on NUTZ or PHC but for those who havn't...

Shot on November 13th 2008. It was in full rut. Lots of snow where he died. This pic was taken a few days later in the Kootenays...no snow then. Shot from a treestand, 40 yds. Third day in the stand. Never saw the buck before he shot it. 325lbs on the hoof. Watch Big Buck Mag. for the story. Can't divulge toooo many details. Shot Waaaay north of Edmonton. That's what happens when B.C. guys go to AB. Gotterdone.

Another Athabasca area buck I'm guessing. I saw some pigs while cruising thru that are this summer

i would say around the slave lake area or smith i was there last summer and there is monsters there

UPDATE. Ed Swanson in Cranbrook officially scored the head for the B&C book. Final gross score was 216.0 and net was 208 1/4. Biggest whitetail he has scored in 30+ years of taping animals.

Dawson Creek,Pouce Coupe,Chetwynd,Fort St. John.Some monsters taken there,hell we have a couple around here as well,but I`m still trying to break the 150 mark.Last years was 142.And you should see the monster Mulies who rape my garden every summer:eek:180-200 but the *******s never leave town.
