I have an acerage an hour NW of Edmonton AB. I also have a pole barn on the place (just used for storage at this time). Each summer I have a Mule Buck that uses it for it's summer residence. Nice and cool I guess.
Here it last summers Buck.

A friend in WV sent me some pictures. On Jan. 2nd he had released some Pheasants for a family hunt. A few found their way home.

Thanks folks !

The non typical 7x7 in the first two pictures hasn't been seen since the rut. However, I do hope he made it through the season. He was not shy at all. I was standing in the yard with my coffee one morning and he followed one of the wife's cats all the way back to the yard. I stood there without moving, other than drinking the coffee. He came within 24 feet of me !
Hope he made it...as it would be nice to see how well his antlers bulk up in the next years. He is only 2(ish) years old in the pictures.
I'd have had more pictures to show, but the wife takes mainly video. Having dial up, I don't even try to send them out.

I also raise Pheasants and Quail. If folks have an interest, I can post a few pictures of the pens ?
