Thnx for the great pics PGK ... looks like a great season was had. Just wondering ... did you keep the bluewing for mounting? Very rare in my bags of waterfowling.

My lake. Go get your own  You ought to recognize the trail I killed my moose on if you've spent much time around there.

I wish I had kept the bluewing. I really should have. I don't think I'll be getting another of those for quite some time. I shot him early in Sept and never saw another after. So I think they're gone pretty soon after the season opens.

Hmm, I should have known better than to open this thread. You've got me all revved up for next year's waterfowl season. Oh well, I'll have to go shoot a few bunnies this winter to keep my eye in. Good luck down south, and I'll see you either on the lakes, or early next semester.

There are some really nice pictures there and congrats on a good season. I liked the black and white one, most people don't do that much any more. Also, some original poses that have given me some new ideas for picture taking. Thanks.

Ouch ... would have made a great rare mount.

Well, it worked, your pics are great, enjoyed them as much as any pics I saw on HBC this year. I like the one of the dude walking, grouse in one hand, shotgun over the shoulder. Reminds me of carefree times, skipping out of school.

I'd say that was a formal invite to Gatehouse and Bartells next flat top adventure and you accepted!
