PS. Welcome to the site.

hey thank's, i dont come from a hunting background but i'm no stranger to the otudoors so i've been reading lots and learning what i can. i'm looking forward to getting out next year and see how i do.

as far as how it happend...i was driving back to camp in my hydro vac and saw movement up the road about 100 yards... i killled the truck and coasted up beside them... got out.. took about 20 pictures... and went along my merry way. they were only 15 or 20 feet away from me. i can say that it probably wont ever happen to me again.... but i'm glad i got the pictures.

A young blonde woman is distraught because she fears her husband is having an affair, so she goes to a gun shop and buys a handgun.

The next day she comes home to find her husband in bed with a beautiful redhead. She grabs the gun and holds it to her own head.

The husband jumps out of bed, begging and pleading with her not to shoot herself. Hysterically the blonde responds to the husband, "shut up...you're next!"

That about sums up my life too. AND why HBC became a haunt of mine...

Opprotunity often makes for the best subjects. Luckily you had a picture taker on hand.

I've been actively trying for a 'wild' pic of a black bear, for two years now. I still haven't got what I'm looking for.

i was driving back to camp in my hydro vac and saw movement up the road about 100 yards... i killled the truck and coasted up beside them... got out.. took about 20 pictures...

I wandered out to Chilliwack Lake in mid December just before the heavy snow fall. Just before the lake right around the Lindeman Lake parking area I saw two bobcat frolicking and playing on the road, maybe 100 yrds ahead of me. I did the same thing, stopped, and got out with the camera to get a shot but they were gone before I was even out. They're quick critters, they didn't even look twice before running (I even had the camera in my hand before I stopped).

Great pics though! LR
