As a new waterfowler in BC I am loving the marsh hunts...been spending last few trips sitting on my pontoon boat, works fine but thinking about using a canoe next trip. Any blind suggestions for the day other than sitting on the top of a canoe? I am not the creative type to build a floor etc, was hoping there is something on the market that works in a wet marsh?

Thanks!

Don't over think it, stand in the grass!

or for luxury, bring a chair and sit in the grass!

works for me!

Natural cover is the best ,but it also will depend were you hunt. Some places tide wash away tall grass. On those flats tide moves up and down and you may not have natural cover.couple sticks, ligth camo tarp and sprinkle of natural grass on top work just fine for me.

camo fold up chair from wallmart works great, and costs under 8 bucks.

5 gallon bucket (turned upside down) free from where ever works for me. You can put stuff in it too on the way there and back;-).

I have a swamp seat. It is made by avery. I wouldn't go out in any marsh without it anymore.
