A little wet snowfall in the morning and some cooler weather sure got the mulies moving this afternoon..I managed to get a couple of pics from my skidder....:smile:

There's a hawg of a 5x4 up there...I'll see if he comes around tomorrow where I am working at..been trying to get a pic of him for the last week and a bit now

Cool pictures and Cool Job to able to snap that kind of stuff while getting paid good for you. Now let's hope that big fella comes out for a skidder photo shoot :smile:

Are the deer in feeding on the fresh tops and limbs ? Have seen that before.

I can usually get within 20 feet of them when they are feeding...as soon as the timber hits the ground,they are right there...funny to watch. Them old bucks are right at the does,chasing them around and what not.
I'll try and get a video clip of them if I get lucky.

I've noticed that too! Do you suppose that they prefer fresh fir, or are the pickins pretty slim as far as real deer food is concerned?

Great pictures! I'm on my way 4 point hunting this week, seeing that 3 point reminds me how frustrating the 4 point season can be. Trying to count 4 is sometimes very difficult.
