Sweet holy mother of god! Never mind how it looks. How did you get it there in the first place? Must have made for some interesting steering in the snow on the trip out with that kind of weight that far back. Man you missed your calling you should have been a loadmaster on a herc for the airforce. Well done!

Yep, got a few weird looks on the trip home!! Meat stayed clean, it was a cold, dry day. We used the truck to skid him up on a bank(Rope and block set up) then turned him sideways and rolled him on to the tailgate using the quad ramp, actually worked pretty sweet!!! Actually it was cold enough that we couldn't use the quad to load him, the throtle was frozen solid!! Funny, the quad had a winch on too!! Oh yeah, no harm to the tailgate!!

Looks like you could easily get another one in there. I'm pretty sure I see some air space near the cab on the driver's side:wink:.

Great pic!

NEVER try this stunt on a truck with no tailgate! Ha! Ha! We did, and the damn thing slid underneath, ruining the fact that the moose was on a nice little bank, above the truck. Can't figure why you would leave all the extra parts on, but a once-only picture. Good for a screen saver---and they said it couldn't be done! LOL LOL LOL
