Just got my bear back from Kelowna Taxidermy. It looks awesome. They sure put alot of work into to make it look the way it does. My first animal
ive ever shot.

Now im waiting for my skull to be finished and hope it makes the record books. Here are some pics......

That is one beautiful bear, Greg.
Do you have any idea what it weighed and squared.

The bear was weighed at the taxi's shop and was 335lb so i figure it would have been around 425 with guts. The hide was squared off at 7'1".

Thanks everyone,

The kids in the pic are my brother inlaws. They were a big help in getting that monster out of the bush.

By the look of the field photo it doesn't look like he's got much for ear parts left. A scrapper indeed!!8-)

AI hop[e you officially got the skull measured before you gave it to your taxidermist. Most taxidermists boil the crap out of the skulls to get them clean. If this was done the skull will shrink a ton.

Nope, no ears. He had so many scares on his face. Kind of wish Harley left all the damage, but what do you do....... He did one heck of a job.........

I hear ya. Every torn piece of skin and scars, tell a story. Unless you specificly tell the taxi to 'work' it, it'll get cleaned up.

Still a nice &%^$in' rug though!

A bear that size is around $1400 give or take a few $100....
