after a safety meeting and a bird id.for the kids at the delta ladner r and g club and a talk to the kids by the rapp van people. the following morning had us up at 5 and off setting deeks with 9 kids out,i think the adverse weather helped alot as we ended up with 22 ducks and a snow goose with many shots fired and fun was had by all. sunday back at it early with 14 kids pounding away we had our first full limit shot by a 3rd year youth and ended up with 27 ducks and lesser canada.back to the club for lunch and presentation and bird cleaning. the kids all got duck calls t shirts and hats supplied by delta waterfowl. many thanks to delta ladner r and g bcwf. and delta waterfowl for their support and all the mentors that were there. it was a great couple of days and it still amases me how this effects people who participate for the first time and how good it made them feel. great days .....fowl
