Anyone own a Brittany Spaniel?

Yo,
Any of ya'll own a brittany? We have a 1.75 year old brit and she is CRAZY for birds. I have never seen anything like it.('cept maybe my buddies springer) With all the other breeds of bird dog out there I think I would get another brittany. Been hunting with her twice and she is a natural, without any real hunting training she was all over putting up birds(grouse), retrieving them and not ranging to far...almost brought a tear to my eye!8)

We had brittany's growing up. They worked all day & were so happy doing it. They definitely didn't need alot of training.

Hey Harbinger, Sound kinda like my springers. Just wondering where you ran into the most birds out there? Planning to hit PV's draw, wine glass and the upper bench above deer camp. What do you think. I'll be there until about noon on the 15th. good luck with the moose / goat , maybe we'll see you out in the Chilcotin's. (god's country):smile:
