Sorry to hear about the banged up back, looks like you had fun though. What did you bring for a rifle?? That .270wsm would look good on horseback!

Nice picks, sounds like an interesting experience. Is it me or do you look and feel out of place with a horse string?

Every man should experience hunting like that at least once in his life imho, but without the complications for sure.

Sounds like the "charge" was the type that you try to hide from your wife on your Visa bill. Oh, oh, you're a big bad "bear".

HI lil buck

Im george, normaly I don't respond to comments but thought I should in this regard. I have packed into the mountains for over 30 years with horses , have shot plenty of sheep, been in on numerous sheep kills , had plenty of run in with grizz. not sure what you meant by your comment but thought I should set the record straight.

Have a nice season hunting

regards
George

"Turtled" and cried......typical.

Either that or it's "charge" was at about 750 yards....in an effort to "start" your evasion by pulling a phenomenal horse riding "move" while "mounting" from a full on run you slipped on our "sheep call" and tweaked your back while reaching for your cell phone to call for help.

By the looks of the pic and your story it sounds like an exciting trip.

You did not connect on a sheep but you have all the memories and pic of this trip forever.
To bad about your back ,I know where your coming from ,I have had a very bad back for the last 20 years.

Like they say its not always about filling your tag that counts ,its the trip and the memories and others that go on this trip that mean more to the hunting trip then bagging an animal.

Nice pic you put up and there will be the years to come to get the sheep you are after ,next year budhttp://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif .

Thanks for the pics. I have heard stories that a horseback trip can be pretty hard if you've never been on one. Anyways, glad you're back safe and sound.
