well after a week all we came home with was grouse but not from the lack of trying..we passed up some bucks i passed up a bear...passed up a moose that was to far out..my uncle miss judged the distance on a huge bull and shot over him...and i missed a nice decent bull..i think my gun might have got bumped and i m headin to the range this weekend..i also missed a wolf thats why i think my gun is out...lots of grouse up there so take a grouse gun with ya

heading up there on October 16th to 20th :)

got a weather report this evening from my Momma, snow flurries began in 108 Mile Ranch so should be time for them critters to moven to lower feeding grounds.

got a place at sheridan lake (west side)

from my experience don't waste you time on the west side of the lake after the september long weekend because all of the deer buzz off and are never too be seen.

We are heading up between Oct 25 and Nov1 and I think we will be in the Timothy lake area for starters but we'll see how that pans out if we need to move around a bit we will.

Leaving first thing in the morning to head up to the Deka area....going to cash in on my first LEH doe.....and also happens to be my first time hunting too.....I too heard it has snowed four times in the last two weeks up there....should be fun!

I agree....a Cariboo meet and greet will be great!

Well from what I have heard from my father if you are not to picky on the deer you want it is going to be easy. As a newer member here i think a meet in the Cariboo sounds great, killed some nice bucks whaen I lived there.

I was at Deka on Wednesday....No snow!! but I did see 11 deer. Good luck!! Nice and cool in the mornings and comfortable in the afternoon and the deer were moving all day
