well we left Kitimat sept 16th and headed up north for are familly hunt my dad uncle and I, knowing there was 3 other guys from kitimat up there we would get are spot for sure things are looking good.
so we arived that afternoon to are destination after 9 hours to see two moose hanging in camp already and on the way in my uncle and i seen 4 moose so things are really looking good now.

so get to buisness and set up camp and starting to get pumped the boys show up from the evening hunt and the storys begin one moose was shot first morning and second the morning we got there. so that night we all make plans where every one is going to go being 6 of us in camp don't want to walk in the same spot as the other guy. With all the plans maid my uncle and i maid plans to head in to are lucky swamp, so next morning up early 5am and getting the coffee maid by 6 we could not handle it any more off we go pitch dark and were on the road. Getting to the swamp and seeing that nobody has been in it yet looks even better so off we go starting to walk throught it and making calls on the way i told my uncle i we would go to the same spot where i shot my bull two years ago, slowly making are way throught it we come throught the buck brush and my uncle says moose [BULL] so i run to the other side of him and look yup it's a bull he says to me go ahaid shoot now with the moose moving away and almost starting to run Dumb me leaving the safty on s@#$T so my uncle shoots clean miss then i fire miss too Dam my uncle again fires and nothing but the moose come to a complete hault now i have him broad side at 288yds so i let it fly and right in the boiller room and down he goes WOOHOO first morning and before 8am we have are first moose down. the rest of the say went for packing out the moose

the next morning the third guy in the other camp got his moose right on the road 5 min from camp so all three guys had there tags filled and need two more for us. This is looking really good now 4 days hunting 4 moose
well was i wrong we hunted hard for the rest of the week with not even seeing a cow finally the weekend comes and i headed off in a different direction and there finally my first boo i spoted off the bike and up go's the spotting scope shucks only a 4 pointer well maybe next time.
Well sunday night and it starts to get really cold and the stars were i told my uncle there going to be moving tonight we'll get one tomorrow
so off we leaving again dark and made are way up the road to a spot with lots of sign on moose on the road and we get 20km from camp and there he was standing 50yds off the road i jump off my bike and say BULL with my uncle getting off his bike and letting him have it the moose starts to bolt i knew he hit him good and he yells slow him down so i let one fly and direct hit allso the moose only went 20yds after that so the hi fiving was down and pics my unle tells me to go back and get dad and the atv trailer and come back so i do.
About 15km down the road i find my dad and tell him the good news we got a good bull down i tell him where and send him and i head back to camp for the trailer, so i get the trailer and start hading back down the road to see my das quad only a couple kms from were i seen him last as i make my way to his bike i see him comming out of the bush with his fist in the air so i speed up and he yells i got one What do you mean my dad gives me a big hug we got two moose down in one day oh YESS there a first time for everything i guess. so me and my dad quikly open his moose and leave it in the bush and make are way to my uncles moose too help him and tell him the other good news so there we where by 9:30 am we had two moose down and all taged out

With the bear still being on the side of the mnt and it's looking good we get to the back and start heading up and now with a better look at the bear it's really big oh yes this might work out well was i wrong we went all the way up after him and got there and he was gone my dad asked why the only thing i could think of was he heard us coming throught the timber and buck bush with the wind in are favore so no bear but we can't complain thats for sure had to be one of the funnest trips in a long time and to all get moose was a great feeling

Great story nice pics. Good for you. I especially liked when you said that you shot your first moose with your uncle at 288yds and thats great it's nice to be out in the woods hunting with your family. But I gotta ask as I'm a little confused as to when you said that your uncle yelled to slow him down and that you shot your second moose at 20 yds? So... after your first moose one could assume that you cancelled your species license or did your uncle cancel his? What was it? Because it sounds like you both took a shot at the second moose. Did you shoot one, both or did he? Just asking cause from reading the story it sounds like you did. Here's where I hope that I misread your tale cause it sounds like you had a great time.

the second moose he shot and hit him good and i did put a second shot into him and he canceld his tag on the secon moose and my tag was on the first moose

Okay that clears it up for me. So your saying you shot and killed the first moose and cut your tag, awesome... then you shot a second moose... sounds good... you might want to give that a bit of a thought though.
