Ran out of our water, managed to find enough rock puddles to get by till it started raining.

Pic of our camp and good times, my brother in law frying up some bear backstrap pieces. I didn't get any pics of the bear. Who shoots a bear in the alpine and then packs it down anyway? He doesn't get out much.:smile: But it was sure tasted good.

All in all a good trip, had a chance at a big one but couldn't count points before he disappeared and got my feet wet (literally) in back pack camping in lousy weather up high. Can't wait till next time.:biggrin:

Yeah gotta learn how to do that one of these days. I watched the vids and am ready to take my first plunge into sausage making. The guy who shot the bear in the pic has a bradley smoker too. 8-)

Yeah he was a healthy looking bear dining on those little round red berries, should taste good, even better was the fact that it was next to the road and it didn't go far.:mrgreen:
