Has any one seen the Foodsaver vaccum bags on sale any where? Or can you suggest where to get them at a reasonable price?

I find them to be cheapest at Costco.

I see them at Costco too, but if you only want an odd roll or two I go to London drugs. The Costco set was far too much the last time I wanted any.

Get the knock off brand from Stuffers (www.stuffers.com (http://www.stuffers.com)), I think they start at 20 cents each. All I had to do was change my seal time from 2 to 1 and they work great!

30 bucks and change at Costco. That is the only place to buy them. You get 2 bigs rolls and 2 small rolls. If you don't mind making your own bags. If you want pre-fabbed bags go to London Drugs. They have a big sale on right now because they are opening a new store. I just saw the flyer the other day.

Canadian Tire, Walmart and Save-On all have a brand that is much cheaper than the Food Saver brand and work every bit as good

My food saver did not work with the cheaper bags. I thought my machine was broken. I then bought some at costco and they worked great.

I buy my sealer bags here... http://www.vacsealers.com/meshbags.html

They work just as good if not better than the foodsaver bags but they cost less. However because the rolls are double size I cannot fit them in the foodsaver so I cut them to size using scissors.

I started reusing my food saver bags, it brought my sausage cost from 45 cents to 30 cents per 100 grams. I thought it would be a pain in the ass, but it's not at all. Although next time I will make the bags bigger for more uses.
