Hey everyone i got a blue heeler/ border collie and he is my favorite hunting partner. 1 problem is he is more anxious than i am. He knows his job and was trained well but i cant seem to keep him quiet. He wont chase my game away and he know the rules of hunting but if im stalkin a animal for more than 10 minutes he starts to get antsi. He will whine and that caused the loss of my 6 point buck last year. I am hesitant to jus leave him in the truck this year. I jus think its his breed but any suggestions?

do you just get the dog fresh from the truck? or does he go out an exercise first? another thing that might work to keep em quiet it a citronella spray. It gives a spray everytime the dogs make a noise. Pretty effective.
