Ducks and Geese

I am heading up the the cariboo 1st part of Sept and since it will be so warm, I thought I would try for some ducks and a goose or 2 . Is there much around>?

I'll be in 5-1 when the season opens on Sept. 15. Hoping to get a few local birds around the potholes, scouting during deer season !

The two times I've been up there in October there seemed to be lots of ducks in the ponds. Never tried any as I had no clue who owned the land.
