Squirrel hunting is fun i did it allot back in montreal and there great to eat and you can easily keep the skin just by salting it. Does anyone know what those ones are in the bush locally are they douglas or fox?

In the lower mainland there are a lot of Fox squirrels. They are fun to shoot with the pellet gun :D

Iether get a sharp knife and debone it and make like a stew or take em whole and spplit them down the spine and fry em in butter and some gralic or any herbs you like, my fav way is after you get one you skin it take some onions and some butter put it in tin foil and throw it right in the fire.
But does anybody know major differences between fox and red squirrels?
Symon.

Symon , if you have a core book look on page 326 (the core book with the sheep on the front)it will describe the different types of squirrels for you.
