for those nights you forgot to take something out for dinner.. ROAST MUST BE FROZEN or else it comes out dry and not so good........

take one package of onion soupe stock.. cover whole roast with it, wrap in tin foil, put in roaster until ready..

i usually chop fresh garlic and put it in too..

it sounds too easy but seriously try it!!!!

What temperature do you cook it at and for how long? Something like 350 degrees and about 2 - 2.5 hours?

it accually cooks really fast so yeah about 350.. check it at around hour 1/2-2 hour mark the tin foil holds the heat really well

Have used this recipe on and off for years and the roasts come out great. I run cold water over the FROZEN roast for a couple of seconds so that the onion soup mix will stick to the roast. Try laying bacon over the roast before you wrap it in foil and put the roaster in the oven. This also works great on Moose roasts, so I think it should be fine for all big game.
