HEy,
I'm looking to buy a new shotgun. Looking at the rem 870 express (it was recommended by a friend of mine, and fits in my price range, and specs)

I'm curious though, what is the difference between 26" and 28" (other than 2 inches)

the only thing i could imagine is weight, in which case 26" would be better. correct me if I'm wrong.

thanks.

TDoyle. I'm no scattergun expert but my experience with barrel length was longer barrels tended to group buckshot better.

longer barrel will swing better in theory. 28" is the standard, 26" would be a good choice for hunting upland birds like grouse and in a duck blind it'd be a bit more handy
