I am not sure you can put in for LEH draws in Alberta as a BC resident. you can however apply for a wildlife id number (win) and then with a hunter host you can put in for open season on elk or any species. you must hunt with your host (unaided voice com) same as BC. The whole thing cost me close to 500 dollars last year for licensing with a win a hunting license and species tags for elk white tail and mulie.

I go with my uncle every year, you need someone to host you and both your and your hosts applications are entered togther. Your limited on the draws you can apply for but for bull moose/elk you are probably ok.

One thing to remember is that by putting together the draw is based on the lowest number of priority points between you and your host. So if its your first time putting in and he has been applying for awhile, then it goes off your points.

Did you get the info you needed?

I am new to this site and from central Alberta. Send me a PM if you have more questions.

Alberta "draws" must be in by June 26th.

I am not new to this site but I am new to Alberta and if it wasn't for this thread I would've missed the draw deadline. Thanks so much to those that contributed.

Like other post you need a win card number. then you put you draw application with an alberta resident. Only one non-resident per resident. The only draw available for non resident are
- trophy antelope
- antlered mule deer
- antlered white-tail deer
- antlered elk
- antlered moose
- trophy sheep, 20 wmu and 1 wmu bow only for non-resident

The system work on a priority system.

Hope it help
