I have a farmer buddy in the Cloverdale area who will be planting corn in the next few weeks. Could some one fill me in on the defination and rules regarding crop protection.

In the shuswap there are no rules, If you see guys in September camped in the middle of now were that don't look like hunters you turn around.

Thanks to a PM and a little digging I have been informed that it's actually the Canadian Wildlife Service that issues the permits, thanks again....

I believe the farmer has to identify each shooter that will be involved. Make sure he knows you are interested and available. That usually means you get a phone call like, "there's geese in the field, get over here NOW!!"
