Which one is it in the title that a cowboy or cowgirl loves the most? Lets see some pictures of real cowboys and cowgirls and their favorite horse and saddles. In the bush, field, or barns, stables or shows from local BC interior would be funtastic. Lets see some horses and Cow people. :D Jel

hahhaha the pink ribbon is actually on my day pack which is camo and the pink stands out when you drop your pack on the final stalk
Give it a try you might be suprised how easy it is to pick up your gear after a long stalk
Come on Steve. Tell them the truth. You miss the forestry work sooo much when you are guiding that you want to practice your road layout skills with the pink ribbon. ;)

Picture of a buddy on a grizz hunt. We had hunted hard that week and he had passed up quite a few grizz. Rode up in the fog and it was just beginning to burn off and spotted his bear. My buddy was killed the following summer in a plane crash in AK - heck of a good guy.

I rafted that damned "river" all the way from Redfern to the Prophet. Beautiful country, scarey ride!
Sweepers, shelves, log jams, fast and narrow. But - I lived to tell about it!
I'd love to return, with horses this time, and check out Keiley and Richards, maybe head up Klingzut. Too much country, too little time. :-|

Feel free Dannybuoy. I have to add that my wife just was worried sick that one day the phone would ring and someone on the other end tells her something she wouldn’t want to hear. She has seen me get kicked around, stitched up and in blaster casts. I do love her enough that I don’t want her to live in fear and worry.

Sometimes blindfolding em whilst you load them helps ... horses sometimes arent scared of what they cant see ...... I have only put or dragged a few deer with a horse ..... not boni-fide pack animals ...just run of the mill ranch horse

This last photo would be perfect if the horses face was in it, a focus just a little to the right a tiny bit, but this isn't about perfect camera work. It's about the surroundings of the hills and animals as well as the horses, saddles, buckles and cowboy hats. This is a picture perfect photo in all aspects the color and definiton and is great to see, thanks for the look-see. Jel-lovely picture, any more out there, doesn't have to be perfect at all.

Any more pictures of horses and cowboy hats and mountain scenery. You can spare one or two for all to see just before the season get's going real good like. It helps to motivate the hunters in all of us. Jelly-wag

I just went through this whole thread. Awesome pics. I would love to own one (well my step daughter does....) but wow are they time consuming. Definitely a lifestyle choice.

Sorry people some who put wonderful pictures on decided to evaporate them from the thread for some strange reason, Some do this and I don't know what their reasons are but they did. Anyways there are still wonderful ones left to enjoy. Sorry about that. Jel

I posted some from last year and figured I would add to the thread this year.
Here are a couple from the 2008 season in the Itcha's 2 1/2 months in the mountains where I kept my GPS running in my saddlebags all season. the grand total was 624 miles.
My horse came from a rescue in Washington and I only owned him a couple of weeks before heading for the hills.. he proved to be a excellent "partner" for me while I was guiding.
Toffee and I riding up to the first moose kill of the season

he not only carried my fat ass around he packed for me as well.
