All I can say is wow, man was that ever good. I bought a new stove about 3 months ago and I'm still learning how to use it as it doesn't cook the same as my old one. I think my other stove was a bit on the hot side as my mother used to burn everything when she tried to cook out of it. I wont mention my wife in fear she'll read this. :mrgreen:

I had roasted up a widgeon the other week and I found it to be tough even after 2 hours in the oven at 350. I thought to myself hmm, maybe the birds are tougher on this coast. Well tonight I decided to give it an extra half hour so 2 1/2 hours at 350 and the meat was falling off the bone but it was still juicy and tender. Not to mention the carrots and whole potatoes with the skins still on came out awesome as well. I know some people don't like ducks but I just love it. I'm thinking if I'm enjoying the widgeon this much wait till I get into those corn fed mallards.:tongue:
