LEH Question...

This will be the first time I am going to put in for a LEH...
I am putting in for a doe in the caribou region....my question is...
Can I put in a separate application for a different area in the same region?
Or am I limited to one per region?

Does this even make sense?

You are only allowed 1 LEH card per species. On each card you are allowed two choices. One is your first choice and the second is your second choice.

So your first choice would be a Mule deer doe in the caribou. Your second choice has to be for Mule deer but in can be anywhere in the province, even the next Management unit next to your first choice pick.

One thing to remember is that the odds posted are for the first choice odds and how the draw is run all the peoples first choice odds are picked before anyones second choice odds are even looked at. So the only way you can get a second choice draw is if the posted odds are less then 1:1.

For example, for years I would put in my first choice goat hunt in the Hedley area (odds 50:1). I would put my second choice hunt down for region 4:28. There the odds were 0.4:1. I always got my second choice hunt tag as there were always left over tags after the first hunt was drawn.
