I am new to archery (year #1) and looking for a rangefinder. Anybody have experience or recommendations(Bushnell, Nikon, other)? I see the latest have built in 'true horizontal distance' features (eg: ARC by Bushnell) to help with those shots at downward/upward angles. This seems like its a good feature, but does anybody have real-life experience to back it up? or is it just a 'selling feature'?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I think the true ballistice range and arc features are very beneficial.
dont get a bushnell trophy (the cheap one)
the bushnell scout is handy since it is light and compact plus it comes with arc.
