Hello Fellas

Anybody know where a guy could buy wooden shafts for arrow making? My brother has been learning to make his own bows and wants to find wooden arrows to use with his creations. I myself don't bow hunt so I thought this would be a good place to ask!

Thanks

Jason

Hey Mcrae555 , I suggest you contact Monty Evin of Windfeather Archery Traditions in Cranbrook. Great guy to deal with. Ph 250 426 8565 after 1800 hrs.

I make my own from the shoots of Ocean Spray and Pacific 9 bark. I also by hardwood dowels from the building supply place. Ramin shafts are very tough and cheap. Some stores carry eastern maple which makes a great shaft as well.
