is it worth waiting for one of these new bad boys or is the Bushnell Prime 6x25 1700m ATDin the same quality/value "range"..heheh?

Well the main differences would be :

Vortex : Red display, ranges deer to 750Y, tree to 950Y, Lifetime warranty, $299

Bushnell : Black display, ranged deer to 700Y, tree to 1000Y, 5 Year warranty, $280
