Good day but a little weird.

We had a great day, a little more wind might have been nice but we couldn't complain about the weather. The strange thing was we didn't have a single mallard come anywhere near us today and they tend to be the norm where we go. We came home with pintails, gadwalls, and a canvasback. The mixed bag was kind of cool. Diesel sure earned his keep with one of the pintails. It hit the water and didn't move until the dog got close, then it came to life and kept diving and coming up in a new direction. We didn't bag a pintail or a gadwal today. Just mallards and widgeon! Had my dad and his buddy, plus 'ol Dan out today. Three guys in their 70's! They all shot pretty well, especially my dad if you consider he lost the sight in his right eye and has been shooting left handed ever since!

ya today i went out and and took my friend for the first time he got 3 pintails and i got 6 mallards and a goose the season is getting good up here sorry guys no pics nexed time for sure.
