well a buddy of mine that works on a ranch here stopped in tonight while i was workin and asked if i wanna help get rid of some problem yotes on the ranch...of course i said sure...so later today (wednesday) i m going out to the ranch and see if i can pop a few...my buddy said they have been seeing anywhere from 5 to 20 a day...so loooks promising...willl post results later....

i regret to say that i didnt get out there on wednesday to shoot some dogs as they got busy out there...but sounds like friday for sure wich is better for me cuz i dont have to work that night...

firebird i really want to use that 300saum and try to split them in to but the ranger offered me a rifle and ammo so i dont have to use mine so i m not sure what i m shooting them with...

well i only managed to get one today...my buddy called me up and said head out and by the time i had gotten there they all took off from the fields but we spotted one up on the hill laying down so i fired off a 180 power shock out of my 303 british and the yote went down and then started yelping and trying to take off so i quickly fired another one and put a stop to him...after we got up to him i noticed the first shot hit a lil low in the shoulder and took his one leg just about clean off...wich explains why he couldnt get away to fast the second shot was right in the neck...i was surprised to see this guy had very nice coat on him still...the weekend is still young yet and i have the whole weekend off so i might still be able to get a few more of them...will keep ya all posted...
