I just got back from the Shot Show in Las Vegas.
They had a demonstration on them there.I was very impressed although they did seem a bit heavy.Karl Granlund in Campbell River sells them. The next time I get up there I am going to check them out a little better.

Any idea what they are worth? When you say heavy, what like 15 oz. or more

I Am Not Sure Of The Actuall Weight But They Felt Heavy In The Hand.I Did Pick Up A Brochure But I'll Be Dammed If I Can Find It.they Were Offering Them At A Real Discount At The End Of The Show Show.I Think The Price Runs Around $1000 Dollars In Canada.

Are those Sheppard scopes limited to a certain bullet weight for each calibre ?

Blindbob,
I just had a look at them at Granuland's in Campbell river. They are an awesome scope, all kind of features and they are $1000.00. You can look them up on the net. Didn't see any restrictions concerning bullet weights.

I went to shepherdscopes.com (http://shepherdscopes.com) and it seems like you have to match your ammo type with the different shepherd scopes. They seem to be calibrated for different loads .

Loads or velocities? l understood the bullet drop compensation was based on a particular muzzle velocity.........

I sort of meant velocites when I said loads . Sorry for the choice of words.
