Hey there, I am a relatively new hunter and I need a hunting partner. My current partner is a bit unreliable and since I have only been hunting for the last 2 years I want to be safe so I'm looking for a new partner.

I have hunted and have had success with mule deer, and grouse, but that's all I know. I know tracks and sign, have all my own gear including truck camper and quad/trailer.

I am looking to hunt deer, moose, elk, or other eating animals. Not really interested in Bear or sheep or goats right now, I want more experience first!

I'm in good shape and like hiking all day, not a road hunter at all. I consider myself semi-skilled in woodsmanship (is that a word?). Into the outdoors big time. I can put in 4-5 day hunts, I just need to arrange my life a bit in order to do it.

Anyway, PM me if you are interested, or in the same boat as me!

I'm pretty open to suggestions...I've hunted in regions 8 and 3 so far. I don't know if I can free up enough time to go for a 2 week camp up the Alaska highway right now....but a few days to a week here and there is manageable for sure

HEY, HEY! Ease up on the North side of the Fraser! The backwoods of Mission is where I grew up and spent most of my time learning woods craft. But you can bet that I ran into some pretty scary stuff back there!

Tikkat-3: If I may make a suggestion. There is a get together in Horseshoe Bay next weekend. If you could get to it you will meet with some good guys. Some of them are from the F. Valley. It would give you a chance to see who they are and for them to meet you. That way nobody is going in blind when looking for a new hunting buddy.
